Clear weather and two cruise ships brought 15,000+ people to the Third Annual Astroday fair in Prince Kuhio Plaza in Hilo, Hawaii. Besides the many thousands of local residents of Hawaii Island, the event attracted many from the outer islands, and around the world through an AstroDay Tour by Astronomy Magazine and Mayhugh Travel. AstrDay featured over 40 exhibitors, exhibitors, including Mauna Kea Observatories, educators, students, Hawaiian culture groups, commercial vendors and a BotBall Scholastic Robotics exhibit and competition.
