Before Journey Week, the Journey Team will make photographs, biographies and other information on the Journey Scientists available to teachers on the web. After Journey Week, this information will remain available to teachers, so that they can contact Journey Scientists directly to invite them back into classrooms.

Each Journey Sceintist can choose the extent to which they want to make themselves available.

In additions to opportunities to visit classrooms, there may be other professional development and.or teaching opportunities. For example:

- special workshop on inquiry learning for scientists
- teaching a professional development credit for teachers
